Have you gone through all the major grounds , taken them off and cleaned the connections up with rough sandpaper? Search " F150 big 3" on google and follow those suggestions, at least to pinpoint all major grounds.

No, I will do that tomorrow. And no, the truck actually hasn't been driven in 2.5 years. I spent all winter rebuilding most of the front suspension, replacing lights, the interior, radio, coils, battery, and alternator. It's getting an alignment tomorrow and I told them to take a look at it.

My money is on a bad ground connection with all that you replaced.

Take your truck to an autozone along the way if there is one. They will test the alternator for free and no need to remove it from your truck. Will only cost you 10 minutes of your time.

All autozone does is stick a voltmeter on the battery. I have a voltmeter. But I was driving it tonight, and the battery light was going on and off, the lights were dimming then going bright, and the radio was turning on then off. It only did the thing were it cuts the gauges power once. So based on my knowledge of cars, that all sounds like a bad alternator.

Yep.

It was mentioned before; the price you paid for your alternator did not sound like that of a good quality replacement one.

I'd still pull the alternator and have it bench tested twice, just to confirm the voltage regulator and or the alternator itself is more than likely the problem..
While your there getting a new alternator, have them test the new alternator TWICE.
You should be seeing aroun 13.7 - 14.6 volts with a healthy alternator..
It is very common to get a bad reman alternator right of the shelf... This is why I say test it twice... Sometimes it takes a couple try's to reveal the inconsistency in the alternator.. Autozone does have bench testing equipment, but their alternators suck.. Consider heading over to Advanced auto parts for their "big one" brand (cheap) alternator.. They are much better than duralost... I've got an ADAP reman in mine, and the test before I left the store helped me to avoid a bad alternator right off the shelf..
Buy it from your smartphone while your in the store, and select pickup in store.. Enter code TRT41 and save $40 on orders over $100 or HUGE50 (if it still works) for $50 off $150 or more..

Or take the oem alternator out and have it rebuilt by a local shop. That is really your best option and it will have a better warranty usually than auto stores.
