Lincoln Mark LT differences..
Here's the scenerio.
My buddy is looking for a new truck. He's been talking about getting a Lincoln Mark LT for a while.. So what are the differences between it and the F150...
I'm pretty sure everything is the same except the badging, which increases the price.
I thought the powerplant was different. But it shows 5.4 3v. Is there any difference between this motor and the 5.4 in the other F150s? I thought it had the bigger 5.4 like the Navigator.
I told my buddy he is better off just getting a F150 Lariat and putting some chrome on it instead of paying for the Mark LT..
Any thoughts? I told him get a 2006 and up incase he wants to do CAI, Exhaust so he doesn't run into lean issues. But most likely he will keep it stock...
Thanks.

when I was in the market to buy a new truck I wanted a Mark LT but the insurance was more because its a lincoln and the sticker price was higher too. Its basically a rebadged Lariat with heated and cooled seats. I went with the lariat and couldn't be happier

That's what I figured.. I told him just get the Lariat. And do your own Chrome package.. I think you can even buy the Lincoln Grill.

Doesnt the Lincoln Mark LT come with an AWD system from the Navigator as an option? I know there was a thread on here about that some time ago...
The headlights are also different.
They still make the Mark LT in Mexico:

AWD? I'm not sure...
I know the Harley Davidsons I saw online today show "AWD" but they are 4WD??? I don't know.. Some people call 4WD, AWD..
He will use it to tow a 21ft Bass Boat..

I honestly don't see what's soo cool about the Mark LT. But he always talked about it...
A F150 Lariat 4WD will be much cheaper.... and if you do it up right it'll look legit. I'll talk to him some more see if I can talk him out of it. Or else I'll be doing some serious looking into them.

I'll guess when GM's Cadilac came out with a so called "truck", Ford's Lincoln had to follow suit.

07-08s have slightly different headlights, they look square wereas the 04-08 headlights have a round area. tons of chrome, fully loaded. its just a dressed up f150.
