Lifting Truck with new tires?

Im getting some new tires on my F1. I was wondering would the size change give a couple more inches of height to my truck. I currently have 275/55/r20. I am upgrading to 275/65/r20.
If it does lift the truck up how much would that be?
Thanks in advance:)

If I understand you right. You are asking how much the tires will lift you up? You are just getting a wider tire. So it won't

I thought the middle number was the aspect ratio/sidewall height? Yes i was wondering how much lift that would give me 1in,2in,etc?

You are right.

A little over 1"

275 * (.65-.55) * 2 / 25.4 = 2.17" difference in overall diameter, only half of that will raise the axle.

New overall diameter is around 34"

My fault, shows what I know, guess I was just used to reading my 35x12.5 tire
