Default lift or lower?

I'm still going back and forth between leveling out my FX2 and putting some 33s on 18s on it or putting some drop shackles with 22s on it. Any pics of FX2s lifted? heres my truck:

Drop it with 18's or 20's then force feed it and go fast. If I had a 2wd I would do that.

Trust me I would if I had the budget! But I'm only 17 and right now on my salary I think the most I could afford are new wheels/tires and a leveling/drop kit!

I would drop. Tires will be cheaper. Then future you can get a turbo or supercharger.i know what it's like to not have a lot of money and be 17. Just be happy you have such a new nice truck. My first truck was $400 an 86 f250 and I loved that truck. Wish I still had it even though it was a giant rust bucket.

To lift or to lower was the hardest decision I had to make for my 2wd. You WILL get alot of crap about lifting a 2wd from some. I think a lifted truck would be so much fun to offroad, even mildly, but it is a VERY expensive route. You can get lowering parts one at a time for alot less. The choice is yours and dont forget to enjoy your truck.

Yeah I'm trying to decide between a level kit and the ever so popular XD Monsters or drop shackles and 22" KMC Slides

Level isn't to bad it's the wheels and tires that are a lot haha. The bigger the rim the more expensive the same size tire will be though.

man oh man do I feel your pain.
I love the way lowered trucks look, but I also love the way a mildly lifted truck looks. I have a 2wd reg cab short bed 5.0L. and I am at the same crossroads you are at. I already have a set of leveling pucks and a set of OEM lift blocks in the shed for it, I also already have a set of drop shackles :bangshead:
if I lower it, I know I will have to buy drop struts for the front and I want to slap some bigger wheels on it.
if I lift it, I'll keep the 18" wheels I have and just get bigger tires. so either way I am lookin at the same amount of money I just need to pick my poison.
