Default Lift Kit

I am kinda looking at getting a 2/2.5 inch suspension lift kit for my 04 F150 Ext Cab 4x4. Does anyone have any recommendations on brands?
If I get a lift, would I need a leveling kit as well to level out the front or do some lift kits have a leveling kit as part of it?
Also, my tires that I have right now are about 50% tread. Would my truck look pretty goofy running stock sized tires with a lift? What is the biggest sized tires I could run on the stock rims with a 2/2.5 in lift?

Thanks guys

First off they don't make suspension kits in the 2/2.5 inches, lol.Only for the leveling kits they do.Not suspension kits.Go with www.hellbentsteel.com its a good quality leveling kit.So that will will answer your next question, yes leveling kits are separate, lol.Go with a 2.5 inch leveling kit and it will look good. You can run 35's with a 2.5 inch leveling kit.I do.And in my opinion.yes it would look goofy with your stock tires. But thats my opinion, lol. Here is pic of my truck now with a 2.5 inch leveling kit,and 35's.N yes my 35's are on my stock rims. You will have minor rubbing at full inward lock, but just take wider turns, lol.Only think you will have to trim is the black bumper valence.Anymore questions, let me know

Thanks guys. I have heard quite a bit about the hellbent. The only reason I asked about suspension lifts in that size is because I was doing some searching and they had 2 inch lifts. I figured they were pretty much a leveling kit but I figured I better check.

I like em allot.Good year has come along way in tires.Overall there awesome i think. It is Winter time here now and been getting the heavy wet snow where it makes it all slushy and it they perform like a champ.Nice stopping and breaking. Also they wear nice.Been on them for about 10k now for miles, and the wear still looks new.Very puncture resistant also i think.Overall for tires,i give it an A for A/T's.

I went out and did some measuring and my rear is 2 inches higher than the front. HBS doesn't make a 2 inch so would the 2.5 inch put my front a little higher than the rear? Or would it level it out?

Just put a rough country leveling kit on my 06. $99 for the kit and it looks good. Wasnt too hard to install. I still have the stock tires&wheels on it but it would look much better with a bit taller& wider tires/wheels. Im going to go with 33's eventually to avoid having to trim parts or have to put gears in. I have seen pics with the leveling kit and 33's and they look great.

well think about about it for a second. you've got a half-inch difference. i dont think it would be THAT noticeable if it makes it a little higher in the front. and if it does.....put a couple of extra pounds in the rear tires

in all seriousness, it should be fine with a 2.5. id rather put that than something smaller and be dissapointed that it didnt level it out at all
