Default Leveling kit - towing TT

Hi, I have an 08 crew cab 5.4 4wd. I occasionally tow a travel tralier that is @ 5,000 lbs. I want to purchase a leveling kit for my truck but i'm not sure which route to go.

Daystar 2.5" (no blocks or shocks for rear)
Rough Country 2.5" with 1"blocks & new shocks for rear.

Will the rough country with the blocks & schocks help mysag in the back while pulling? Or will that weight from the trailer be very noticeable if I go with Daystar?

The truck doesn't sag much now with the trailer loaded on the weight distrubition hitch.

THanks!!!!

It'll still technically sag in the rear with taller blocks, but since it's higher to begin with it probably won't sag lower than the front. Why don't you just get AALs, especially if you're towing. You won't sag at all with them.

I have the Autospring 2" front level and 2" rear AALs. Love them both. I wrote a how-to on installing the rear AALs in the How To section here, just search for it. Easy install.

That is a great write up on the AAL Tuna!!!! Are those the autospring AAL's? Your turck looks awesome as well!

One more question.......I am going to have to do the leveling kit/AAL FIRST & then the tires later because of money and I have @ 10,000 good miles left on the tires.......& the fact that my wife might shoot me if she knew I was planning on doing this. I have the 255/70-17 stock tires on now. How stupid will it look with the level kit & AAL's with these stock tires? Or will it be ok for a while?

Thanks again

I dont think it would look too bad..... Just besure after you level the front to get a front end allignment... Or you will kill the front tires
