Ahh okay I go you now. If I want the 4x4 stance what type of kit do I get? I don't want to have to deal with replacing control arms ir anything like that.

1.5" spacer up front and 1.5" or 2" block in the rear will give you that.

Okay thanks, what about control arms? Would I have to replace that?

With any front spacers up to about 2.5" you do not have to replace them. The bigger the spacer, the more severe your angles get. Something around 1.5" to 2" won't be so severe that you'll have problems.

This will work for the rear.

Or this.

This would work for the front.

You'll need an alignment after, and you should replace the rear shocks with 4x4 length shocks.

Well, since your shocks are shorter than the 4wd version, they might bottom out since they'll no longer be long enough. They might be fine though if you don't go off road at all. I'd replace them personally.

Rear shocks cost $40ish each for oem type and can be replace in the driveway with hand tools. You don't need to even jack up the truck or take the wheels off. If you can change oil, you can do that.

I doubt shocks would be part of your extended warranty anyway since they're a wear item.

Leveling the truck and adding a block would void the warranty too. But I doubt it covers suspension anyway.

I don't believe installing the kit will void the warranty as the Ford dealer will be installing it and the alignment after. I've asked numerous times.

Well I can promise you swapping rear shocks won't void a warranty. Because I highly doubt shocks would be covered in the first place. Those shocks are likely not doing much at 43k and 10 years old anyway.
