Leveling Kit
I have a 2004 Screw XLT and the front end sits a little lower than rear. Does anyone know how big of a leveling kit I would need to make it sit level all around? also any suggestions if what kind I should get and where to get it installed?
Thanks,

I put a 2" Hell Bent Steel kit on my 04 last year and it made a big difference. It took about 1 1/2 hours using a floor jack and jack stands. I'm sure you could find a local shop that could put it on. The hardest part of the install is getting the suspension to drop down to put the spacer in. I tweaked the alignment myself (toe in) by lengthening the tie rods about 2 turns longer each and so far tire wear has been minimal. A professional alignment shop would do a better job. You'll also need to re-aim the headlights and fog/driving lamps unless you want to blind everyone. You will also notice that you can add more fuel on empty because of the different pitch of the truck but you also will have less of that famous ford reserve.
If leveling the front with the back, add a coil spring spacer lift kit.. That'll lift & level it. Around $125
If you want to level the rear with the front, add a drop shackle kit to the rear, which would lower the rear to level it with the front. Around $65

Like before a lot of info available, I just put a set of billet alum. spacers purchased off ebay for about 80.00, me and a buddy installed them with a floor jack and jack stands in about three hours (a lot less if we had remebered to unhook the sway bar on the driver side to drop the susp. a little more) this is the second set I have done. My 07 XLT took a 2.5 kit to level out while my FX4 took a two inch set, just measure the front wheel space from fender to tire and compare with back for the size you will need. I know my truck looks a lot better raised up in the front. Sorry for long response but hoped it helps
