Default Leveling Kit

Hey guys...i have an 04 F150 Fx4, i put a rough country 2.5" leveling kit on it and i noticed that it doesnt really level out the truck. So im wondering if anyone else had the same problem or if anyone knows how i can get the truck to sit level?

ummm if it didnt level the truck you installed it wrong lol... 2.5 leaves a SLIGHT rake to the front end but it more or less levels it...

I have a similar question, I got the Pro Comp 3" spacer, and the truck sat perfectly level when i first put it on but it looks like it has sagged since and has a little bit of rake again. Could not getting my alignment checked after install cause this problem?

I would always recomend an alignment after doing ANYTHING to your suspension. not doing that is just asking for your tires to be shredded.

BTW 04 lariat 4x4, Where did you get your HID kit and would you recomend them?

oh i know it would be terrible for the tires, but i wanted to shred the ugly stock ones to get some new trail grapplers lol. I just want to know if it hurts the suspension any, and if that can cause it to sag.

And I got my HID's from a friend that ordered and installed them for me, so I have no idea what brand they are. I would recommend them for performance and looks, but buy a higher quality kit because I have replaced 2 ballasts already because they were cheap quality and one of my lights would stop working.

I just installed a 2" AS kit, and it looks pretty level. Mines an '05. I think a 2-1/2 would have been too much on mine.

You need an alignment to get the full lift. My 07 sat perfectly level with a HBS 2" kit. You should be damn close to level. Have you taken any measurements from the top of the tires to the top of the wheel-wells? What are you getting?
