The only antennas I have had any luck with are firestik or Wilson. Any others I have tried have had bad reception. As far as height you need at least a foot above the cab if not a little more. Most of the cables I have seen are all the same and seem to work together. Hope this helps.

information i have found about length of ant above cab is 2/3 for best reception, whats your swr match on the dual setup with this truck?

and heres mine, just a single Firestick 2 on the pass side

coax are universal... as far as i know... and dont buy the cheap cobra 19.... they are garbage

Ya, I just used a little 110 welder I have. Its all cut with a grinder and cut off wheels since I don't have a chop saw either.

It has rails that go under the tool box and there are bolts that go through the box, rails and the bed rails.

How tall is that? I'd guess 4' but tough to tell from the angle, could be 5'.
