Default switched power for aftermarket switches..

Hi, 2004 F150 XLT.

I am adding lights to the front and back of my truck and want them to be switched power.

I currently have a hard wired switched usb charging port where the cig lighter goes. I have wired up my front lights with a relay, and have run a second switched line to the front light switch. I have swapped out the center console for a lariats flow through console, and am placing my after market stuff on a panel where the gear stick would normally be. I am running a cell phone for Torque, running to one of the already installed usb plugs. The other usb plug is running to my ipad which is running music and navigation. I want to have a second usb double charger for my phone and any passengers to charge, and need to add a switch for my 4x4 lights mounting under the bumper.

I want all the switches off when the vehicle is off. Is there a way to make a switched hub or something to run both switches and both double usb chargers from? kind of like adding a fuse panel, but for switched power? I just don't see how I can tap into another 2 switched lines. Using the add a fuse system.
Any help on this is appreciated. Thank you.

From the ignition switch itself, you have the following direct outputs:

1. HOT IN START
2, HOT IN RUN & START
3. HOT IN RUN & ACCY

You also have the ACCESSORY DELAY power feed which normally runs the audio system and the power windows, including a delay after the ignition switch is turned to OFF until either a door is opened or the delay timer expires.

Which do you want to tap into?

I would like to tap the delay, as that is how I have the usb charger running currently.
Thank you for your assistance.

ACCY DELAY power can be picked off the line that is common to fuse F22, circuit breaker F401, and ADR pin 87 in the underdash fuse panel.

Can I use the one delay for all 4 items? Say I tap #22, can I run 4 usb's, and 2 switches off of that? Seems too much to me. Currently, I have 2 switched fuses tapped with add a fuses. I believe it is added at 22, and I want to say 38. I checked with a tester and found switched fuses to use. I want to make it simple, and not have multiple lines to the fuse box.

If you are going to be adding any sort of substantial loads the way to do it is with a relay that is allows much more current through it via bigger supply voltage and trigger it with the delay or ignition switched source..

You can probably find a product like a small aux fuse box with some relayed circuits like a painless product from like summit or jegs

Yeah, just use the circuit I indicated to control a relay with it's own independent power feed if in doubt.

The USB ports aren't much of a concern but the auxiliary lighting might be. You'd have to know their power requirements.

Your 12vdc pos feed can come right off a fuse on battery pos terminal . The relay will shut it down .

So I have made the daisy chain wires for both the switched power and the ground. I have the switches running to a relay. The 12v is wired direct to the battery with an inline fuse. The front fogs come on and the usb chargers are working. I just haven't mounted the rear lights yet to test them.. I will post a pic or two when it is all back together.

Thank you for your help.
