Nope it was pretty seamless! There's a hole in the tailgate and I fed the wires right through and attached them to other wires that ran along the underside of the truck! Fed it up through the firewall hole and was good to go.

I just ordered that same camera yesterday except without the lines. How are you liking it?

I like it, however the view angle/location makes it very hard to gauge distance. Once you see anything in the view, you are CLOSE. Also can't see the ends of the bumper to use it to back around a post or other obstruction.

FWIW, I had to extend the video cable with a 4 foot extension to get to my Edge, going through the firewall above the gas pedal.
