I got the 2.5 inch Hell Bent Steel. It's pretty common for most of us on here. The 04-05 sit a little lower in the front that the 06-08. Most of those guys run the 2 inch kit to get level. The front is maybe a 1/4 above the back but it could have just been the driveway. I plan to maybe run an add-a-leaf or maybe a taller block to give it a slight rake.

Is it that the 06-08 sit higher in the front? I've heard that those just sit a little lower in the rear than the 04/05's to get rid of the bad rake. But I've noticed in person though those some leveled 06-08's look like they sit up higher but I didn't know if it was just me

What u heard is right, it's the rear that's a lil lower.... Putting 2.5" on a 06-08 will look nose high

I also have an 07, but with the HBS 2.5" I was a little nose high. That's the only reason I did a lift shackle, and it's still a tad nose high. Makes me wonder if I possibly got a 3" level by mistake.

No offense intended, but I really wish people would stop saying this. All trucks are a little different. I put a 2.5 on my 07 and it was perfectly level. Since I put in on a little over a year ago it's settled 1/4 of an inch.

The only way to tell what size you need is to measure from the ground to the bottom of the fender over the tires on both the front and back. The difference is the size you need.

Period
