2.5" Hell Bent Steel
325/60/18 Terra Grappler G2s for tires.
As for the ride, a tad stiffer. Replaced ball joints, UCAs, sway bar end links, and tie rod ends before 100k.
But for the looks of the truck, it's exactly what I wanted, and would do it all over again.

Leveling Question
Hello all.
Im Steve and I live in PA. I recently purchased a preowned 2008 XLT Super Crew Cab 4x4 in Dark Shadow Grey. When I bought the truck it had an extreme rake and the only thing I was told by the dealership was that the previous owner had a bed camper in it. I was told that they didn't believe any suspension modifications were made but to me it looked like the rear was sitting way too high for stock so I purchased a set of 2" levelers and had them installed with an allignment thinking that would level her out. I measured the front and back wheel wells and the rear still sits one inch higher!
Any thoughts? Could i get away with replacing the 2" with 3" without problems. I dont ho off roads at all and mostly highway driving. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks

When I added a 2.5 level to the front of my '04 it sat perfect, then when I hooked up my trailer I dropped about an 1" so I added heavy duty leafs and and replaced the 2" block with a 3"...I have a 1" rake but not many notice it but for me (as I tow alot) I needed it.

Looks good. But are you now taller in the front?
When I first leveled my truck I liked it. Then I put a slightly larger block in the rear, then a while later I put an even larger block in the rear. Then I lowered the front slightly, then a little more. Now I'm back with the original blocks I had in there and am never touching it again.
It's really easy to keep switching things up. Haha.
