Default LED turn signal issue

New to forum, have searched for answers before posting, no luck, here is issue: [2008 F150 Lariat SuperCrew]

I am trying to install led bulbs in turn signal and side marker (front). I have 50W/6ohm resistors.

1. How do you wire the resistors and do I have to wire a resistor to both the turn signal bulb and the side marker bulb?

2. [Attempted to wire by troubleshooting] When I wire in a resistor to the turn signal, one end of resistor to green/white wire one end to brown wire, the turn signal blinks correctly but when I turn on the headlights, the blinking becomes almost a solid light. How do I solve this?

3. With resistor wired to turn signal as described above, I tried to wire a resistor to the side marker, attached to the non-black wire (can't remember color of wire right now but there is only two) but that did not solve the solid flash issue when I turned on the headlights.

4. Will replacing the signal relay with the EP27 sove this issue without resistors?

5. Finally, what is the correct way to do this?

I plan to replace all bulbs (except headlights and fog lights as I already have 55w 5000K sets from ddmtuning.com) with leds so I am sure I will come across additional issues but if I can solve this issue I can move ahead. Any and all help is appreciated. This forum is very helpful and I appreciate all of the good information I find here.

Grant

The relay should solve your problem and the side marker has nothing to do with your flashers.

Thanks, I will get one on Monday and try it out. This weekend was my wife's and my anniversary so I wasn't on the computer. I will post once I get the relay.

So if I get leds for my front and rear turn signals and install this relay it'll blink normally?

I put a tailgate light bar on my truck recently and cannot get the running lights to work. Recon said I needed to add the resistors to fix the issue so they'll work....would adding a EP27 relay fix my problem and keep me from having to install the resistors?
