Default Are LED taillights and projector headlights that easy???

I watched a couple videos on how to install LED taillights and how to install projector headlights on a f150 and I was shocked on how easy it was. They didn't rewire anything it seemed pretty simple. I thought there was some rewireing and other electrical work that needed to be done???

When you don't "cheap out", it can be as easy as plug and play. Many folks go out on Ebay and buy cheap kits, only to find they don't work, don't fit, and/or burn wiring or fuses. Then they end up buying good kits, so it ends up costing more than if they just bought the good stuff in the first place.

Search this forum for posts on tail lights and HID kits. There are hundreds of posts on these with good and bad recommendations.

I recently did my headlights and taillights. The taillights were strictly plug and play. But the headlights, needed some rewiring for the bottom row of LEDs. Its a pretty simple task.. If you follow the directions.

im looking for some projector headlights for the truck and was wondering if you use the same bulb as the stock. I already have the HID for my stock housing and was wondering if i can use those for the new projectors

Well there are different arrangements of the lights in each set. In mine, the only bulbs that I re-used were my amber turn signals. The main bulb for the highbeams came with it. I believe the HID won't work. From what I've read, they're too long for the lens.
