No, putting led's as you're reverse lights won't mess anything up. You don't have to mess with any wires. The bulbs will just plug right in.

And also, the bulbs are 3156, but 3157 will fit fine and work.

I installed a set of the V3 Triton led bulbs and they are incredibly bright!

Damn those are nice. I bought some cheap "CREE" 3157's off Amazon and they are POS. I've heard of the V3's but forgot what website are they off of?

Sure, http://www.vleds.com/v3-triton/bulb-system.html

Yes I have been having the issue with hyper flash ONLY when the headlights/park lights are on. During the day the lights flash normal. At night, they hyper. I'm thinking of buying the EP27 led load flasher to see if that helps. I usually do not use cruise control at night, but I'll give it a shot to see what happens.

The pictures really and truly do not do these led bulbs justice. They are insanely bright. Well worth the money!

Here is a close up of the difference once again. LEFT is the Triton, RIGHT is stock. Notice the brake is not on. This is tail mode.

It must be said the ability for these bulbs to be adjusted for the perfect focal point allow the light pattern to exceed OEM / SAE specs. More of the reflector is utilized, which again increased the output. VERY HAPPY!
