You will like the Zevos. I wouldn’t trust the kit.

Unfortunately, when it comes to leds, there’s a lot more junk out there than good stuff.

Make sure you get leds that are the same color as the lense. I.e. red Zevos for the tails.

Zevos work fine.

This is what I'm running in brake lights: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MC79TLA/
and third brake light: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B010XZRQHG/

Well, put the Zevo bulbs in last night and they make a HUGE difference, but still no Cruise control. I checked all of the fuses and all of my tail lights are functioning properly. I'm at a loss at this point and figuratively banging my head against a wall...

Brake switch maybe? I hate to suggest things to throw at it but the switch is tied to the CC circuit.

You just removed resistors and suddenly have this problem. Did you seal up the wiring really well? Because it sounds like you have a short somewhere.

The better CANBUS ready LEDs won't cause CC to go out, at all. Like I said, I'm not running Zevos, but everyone else who has does not have problems with it because they tell the CANBUS that the lights are fine and working.

Try this, change your third brake light back to an incandescent bulb and see if it works. If it doesn't, swap all the bulbs back to incandescent. If that still does not work, then you have other problems than LEDs.

Default Zevo’s

I too changed the rear tail lights to Zevo LED’s (3157R), licence plate lights, cargo and 3rd brake light. The rear tail lights and brake lights flash normally but hyperflash inside the cabin. Would an LED flash relay EP-27 fix this problem or should I take it to my local Ford dealer and have them cancel the bulb out notification?
Thanks.

that's what I figured
thanks for the reply

Edit: on a 2018, my Ford mechanic is telling me it’s controlled by the BCM as I can’t find the relay under the dash. Can anyone confirm?

this is the 04-08 truck section. I figured you had the same generation truck as the rest of us. Can’t help you on a 2018, but I can tell you you can’t change the flasher unit like on our trucks. You probably need to use forescan or use resistors.
