Yea Pin 2 is getting power directly from the battery, The fuse tap is only going to pin 6 so the text will light up. when i grounded pin 8 the led lit up fine but the switch was off, so it shouldnt have lit up.

OK

This was your last post

"When pin 8 is grounded that led is on. regardless of the switch position. Everything is wired like you said except for the LED lights i didnt relay since theyre such a low draw. Both are having the same issue."

What wire is feeding pin 2 and what wire is feeding pin 6?

So when pin 8 is grounded, that means the power to pin 3 is constantly on. It sounds like the switch isn't working but I doubt that is the cause. It's unlikely, but possible.

So the top led lights up when the switch is off. When you flip the switch on, does the top led turn off, or does it stay on? And I'm assuming the led light bar itself lights up fine with turned on.

Top light stays on. Actually off-road lights work fine and the bottom switch light works fine. Just the problem with the top ones which leads me to believe I received the wrong switch bodies

Sounds like wither the wrong switch body or a faulty one. Is it the same issue with all the switches?

Definitely the same problem with the 2 off-road light switches. I was going to wire up my ems light today and see if its doing the same thing.

Yeah I'd try it with every switch and then call the place you ordered them from and let them know.

Sorry can't be anymore help, hope you get it it straightened out. Once you find out post what the solution is.
