LED fog light question

The problem is the truck looks for a specific returning current from the headlights to know when the high or low beams are on. LEDs are a lower resistance bulb so the truck is confused if the highs are on or not. The easiest way to fix this is to do the bambi mod or add a resistor in the circuit somewhere. Im not sure where the resistor is suppose to be added because I did the bambi mod. It basically the same reason LED turn signals have to have either a resistor or new flasher.
