I had this problem. Its the rear leaf pack. The individual leafs are rubbing against each other when you flex the pack. I added a AAL and that took the sound away (somehow).

I have a squeak coming from the rear of my 06 screw 4x4 as well. I can't say it is the leaf springs but it sure is annoying. Especially driving slow in parking lots etc. What is this "AAL" that you added to get rid of it? I plan on getting it under coated in the fall and was wondering if this will help.

I got it too in my '04 Screw. I thought it was coming from the bed bouncing a little over bumps. It seems to squeak too long to be the springs. At least on mine.

Add-A-Leaf. My squeak reminded me of my old bed, or my old 82 LTD, such a huge boat, would bounce down the road, squeaking the whole way like a lil piggy. Weeeee Weeeeeeeeeeee WEEE WEEE WWEEEEEEEEEEE (awesome commercial lol)

I've got an AAL and it still squeeks. If you jsut installed it, you likely just moved the contact points for the leafs and it will start again. Only solution ive found is to spray with oil, which is only temporary.

Would a heavy tack grease smeared on the contact points help?

Thats what I did. I put tack grease on. I forgot about that cuz a buddy is the one that actually suggested it while I had my pack torn apart.

Not sure, but I thought there were pads between some of the leafs that could be replaced/inserted.

To those that have a squeek that don't think it's the leaf springs, I had a squeek coming from my tailgate @ the latch on the side. WD40 and it's gone.
