Decided to start a build journal on my 2005 F-150 Lariat 5.4 2WD. As I install/mod things I'll post updates with pics.
This is my first truck, so I'm new to the truck world and all the mods that got with it. I worked on sportbikes and a little on sportcars, but not trucks. I like doing mods and and changing stuff around, keeps me out of trouble.

I bought the truck on November 13th, 2010 looking like this:




So far all that's done to it is:
20% tint all around, except on windshield, just a strip on the top there
Flowmaster muffler with dual exhaust
Stainless Nerf Bars

I am waiting on a few goodies to come in the mail, they'll go in as they come in:

LEDs for the interior lighting

Blackout taillights
Blackout 3rd brake light
Blackout headlights, going to paint the chrome housing inside the headlights
Blackout the emblems
Blackout the Roush grille
Blackout the Nerf Bars
Blackout the dual exhaust tips
Blackout the stock 18" rims (just until I get the new rims with tires)
Blackout or paint to match the front and rear bumpers
I hate chromed parts

When you take your stock stereo out can you tell me if you have one or two plugs + antenna? Does your truck have the steering wheel audio controls? I may be interested in buying it off you if you want to sell it. I just got an black 05 lariat last week. Love it.
