Default Koolant Kapacity Konflict

2007 F150 FX4 5.4 so yesterday I did a coolant flush and replacement. I looked up several sources and all indications said that the capacity of that engine for a coolant was 19.9 litres. When I drained it not nearly that much came out. Maybe ten. I flushed it till it was draining clear water. Didn't think too much of that. Then when I went to fill it up same thing it took two jugs of coolant and only a little bit of water. Of course I considered there may be air in the system but there are no symptoms of that. It runs at normal temperature and the heat blows as expected. Ideas?

Coolant remained behind in the heater core and block. As long as you flushed as you said, no worries. Check coolant level in a day or so and keep trucking.

That's interesting. I just focused on the initials and didn't laugh at all...

You need to test the ultimate final maintained mixture, to ensure its blended close to what it should be.

The initials didn't even occur to me until it was mentioned. Shows the difference in perspectives I guess.

That it does. Relieved that it wasn't more to it. Experience shapes perspective. Hope things work out with the coolant issue.
