My bad... Any codes on the computer? Was tranny replaced with motor or still original tranny? Did you repair body damage?

No codes, original trans, have not repaired any of the rust

At this point, I'd keep it. I'd be emotionally attached that I saved a truck from the crusher!! I say just fix the rust and enjoy an essentially brand new truck for not a lot of $$

I would say it would be worth more fixing the leather seat and the rust. You seem like a handy guy I would think after a motor pull and replace the cab corners would be a breeze for someone with your skills. Then worst case go talk to a local shop or find a buddy that does painting and have him spray them up
