King Ranch Project

No. I do have a lot of space, tools and a forklift. I basically do everything on my bikes and car. This is my first truck and the only frames I've changed have been on quads.. Lol.. I figured with the help of some friends i can get away without a lift. Sorry for derailing your thread and thanks for responding.
This is where you need to end up:
Prepping the cab to lift off the frame is not hard at all. I have the King Ranch cab and front clip about 3" off the frame right now.

I have a couple questions, i hope you can answer them!! Thanks in advance.
1- Do i need to remove the seats and carpet to get to the cabin bolts inside?
2- Does the radiator need to come off like the manual says to be able to pick up the cab, or is the front end (bumper, radiator, condenser, lights) its just one whole clip that comes off together?
3- It also says "Using the special tool, remove the power steering pump pulley" Do i have to do this, and is the tool a must?
Im starting the swap this weekend, just making sure i dont remove unnecessary stuff and i got the tools needed once im there!!

Any updates on the King Ranch? Side note, are high mileage 5.4's something to stay away from? I started another thread about looking at a clean 07 with 156k miles. Miles are higher than I'd like but it looks in great shape and the price is decent.

As far as whether or not you need to stay away from them, it all depends on the maintenance done by the previous owners.
