Keyless Entry Remote not Working

Keyless Entry Remote not Working
I have an '05 Ford F150 SuperCrew XLT 4.6L V8 2wd, and my battery died, like COMPLETELY, yesterday and when I got it jumped, I let it recharge the battery, and then my remote for my locks wasn't working. I tried checking the fuses with a fuse tester, still good. I tried reprogramming the remote, nothing. Everything else still seems to be working, including the door buttons, except the remote on my keyring. I also checked the circuit board inside the remote and nothing looks like it shorted out or smells burnt. Any ideas? That would lead me to believe that the remote is bad?

Remote worked. Truck battery went dead. Remote doesn't work.
I would not draw the conclusion that the remote is dead. Jumping a battery and driving/running the truck does not recharge the truck's battery. I would place it on a charger until it's charged and then try again.

Now let me ask this....is the keyless entry connected to the instrument cluster in any way? Because I think I've seen a wire for keyless entry on the cluster harness diagram. I ask , because first the keyless entry remote, now the instrument cluster (possibly being connected to each other by the aforementioned keyless entry wire). And also, the lights that illuminate the three A/C *****. Ideas?

Don't you have a second remote
I have seen remote testers in stores I just can't remember where I last saw one .
I would guess the receiver is in the body control module behind the back seat at least that's where the door codes are stamped .

Just in case I would put an overnight charge on it as suggested .
A lot of folks think that just because the alternator is running now that it will bring the battery up shortly . It takes time to deep charge the battery .
I doubt if it's the answer here but it won't hurt for sure .
