Hello all! I'm a new owner of a 2004 F150 super cab XLT. When I picked it up the keyless entry would not work to lock or unlock the truck. Assuming it was a battery issue I went to the store and picked up a battery. After installing I tried it again and it only works after holding the button down for some time or after pushing multiple times. I was right next to the truck so it wasn't a distance issue. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

its probably a keyfob going out, the electronics are cheap in these things, id go pick up one on ebay and reprogram it, it is super easy and shouldnt run you more than 10 bucks.
