Default suspension lift for 07 same as 08

<--- newbie

I want to lift my truck ... I plan on keeping the stock 18" chrome rims.. and want to put in some 35's as far as tires go.... Been surfing this forum and all I see is nothing but awesome trucks... so what do you guys recommend? Truck specs - 2008 F150 4x2 Supercrew

-Thanks

Unfrtunatly your not goin to be able to keep the factory backspaced wheels if you do a suspension lift with out wheel spacers. 4" lifts I recommend Rancho, theres nothing better out there period. 6" kits I would use fabtech or Rize, Rize is gonna be quite a bit more expensive but it has a bitchen look to it. 8" kit would have to be the Rize, I wouldnt trust anything else. Stay away from Procomp, its cheap for a reason.

Definately digging the rize kits....
What if I do a 3" body lift? would that help me clear the 35's on the 18's or would I still have to get a different wheel/tire setup?

The only thing that I see on most of these sites ....is that everything is made for 4wd 06 and down....

I just want my truck to look aggressive ... hence the reason why I was thinking about gettin the suspension lift... but I think with the right tires I can still accomplish this...

Thanks!

you can run 35's with a leveling kit, you will have to do some trimming, and theres a chance the tires will rub the body under full turn. Some clear some dont its different with everyone i install.

Rize isn't making the 6" kit anymore.

I doubt you'll be able to keep the stock rims with 35's especially if they're 35x12 because of the width of the wheel and the backspacing. I've had a pro comp kit on my truck for a year with no problems other than the 6" spacers on top of the coilovers look like s. If you go with pro comp get the stage II kit for sure.
