They key itself? Doesn't need the keypad at all. They keypad? You have to have the factory code. The key fob? Again no code needed. I think most years are similar but what year of truck are we talking about here? Please give us as much information as you can or else we could go through this all day and never get you the right answer.

I think that may be a good place to start. I believe you need the master code before you can change it to a personal code. Check the owners manual booklet in the glove compartment (if you have it) and see if it is in there.

Kinda un clear what he is asking, but if it is the panel, you cannot change the master. He needs to find the hidden code within the truck,if he is just trying to add a new door code and not a new physical key.

I suspect he’s asking how to find the factory keyless entry code. I had to do the same thing. Removed the rear seat to find it on the module. YouTubed this. Was pretty easy. Made my own code and use it now many times daily. 2007 FX4 Screw. I used this guy:

Not to hijack the OP's thread, but I can get my truck into program mode for the key fob but the fobs won't program same with the door key pad . Any help would appreciated .

I have a 2021 f150 super crew cab with the 157 wheel base , lariat with the 501a package . I am in need of the keyless master code which was not in the vehicle, as so I can change to my own code thanks , build date is 10/13/2021
