Default Keep f150 or gt mustang??

Alright boys and girls I'm thinking hard about selling the truck for a gt mustang. Found one for 12k it's an 07 fully loaded stock gt mustang with 92k on the dash. Only mod is an x pipe exhaust. I would be selling my 05 f150 fully loaded with 162k on it and lots of after market stuff for it. Worth it or not? I've looked at tahoes before but decided against em... I'm loving this mustang though. Is it worth it or not?

I'd personally love to have a Stang myself, but I just can't imagine life without owning a Pickup, specifically an F150. I think you might realize how handy and useful your truck is/was if you decide to get rid of it! If I could only own one vehicle, it would be a truck !

I have an 04 Mustang that I love. I loved zipping in an out of traffic and she is fast but I had absolutly no real passenger room, not really any trunk space either. Performanace tires were expensive as well. I gave it to my son to drive to school with the rules that his grades don't drop and he doesn't get any tickets. I do get out there sometimes on a Saturday morning and hot rod it to get the adrenyliene rush going sometimes though. Keep the truck and buy the mustang, thats my 2 cents, you wont regret having both.

I say keep the truck, find an older Mustang and build it yourself!

I may just keep the f150 finish paying her off in a couple months then buy a mustang later down the road. I don't wanna have two payments on me at once.. And if I get this new job with the f150 I'll be paying 25 a day in gas to get there and back. But the mustang payments were gonna be cheaper and insurance wasn't gonna be but about $50 more than it is on my truck. Bottom dollar I was gonna save around $150 a month plus the gas I saved. But I seem to have a hard time thinking about letting my first truck build go to someone else.

I'm 45 years old, and have had mustangs my entire driving life (except for about a year in a Ranger, and another 2 in a Focus and Fusion). I LOVE mustangs. My 2005 GT was totalled this April when I was hit from behind. I couldn't find another stang that really got my attention, and I came across a great deal on my current 08 F150. I can't imagine not having my truck! Do I miss having a stang? Absolutely. We had a huge car show here this weekend, and not having my stand to enter into it really bugged me. However, it did pass, because the practicality of my truck is just too much to overlook for me. I'll have another stang one day, but it will be in addition to my truck.
Personally, I would hold off on the stang and pay off the truck. Are you set on getting a GT? If not, look into the 11 and up V-6s. The combination of HP and decent gas mileage make them attractive. Also, I feel the styling options were nicer in the 11 and up V-6s, versus comparable 05-09 cars. Good luck!

All Mine
1. 06 Mystic Cobra
2. 02 Zinc Yellow Procharged GT
3. 04 DSG Mach1
4. 04 Comp Orange Cobra
5. 11 5.0 GT

I traded in the last for a 13 FX2 and never looked back. If I get another Stang it will be a 14 Shelby. Not thrilled with the new Euro body style. In my opinion which doesn't mean **** the 05-09 are ugly as hell and the 3 valve is a POS. But it is what makes you happy. -Shane

That sounds like a good move. Two vehicles with very different purposes.

That's a list right there lol I've always wanted a 03-04 comp orange cobra or mach 1.

OP
I have had 3 mustangs now and still own one along with my truck, and its nice having the option of driving it on nice days. I say get a mustang and keep your truck. 99-04 mustangs can be had for $5-8,000.
