Default Just Installed DDM Tuning 8000k's

Today I spent about two hours on headlamps and foglamps with my new 35w 8000k HID hi/lo beams. And single beam(obviously) 35w HID 8000k. DDM has a nice kit! Was kind of skeptical at first but the ballasts are very quality. The harnesses clicked together with no issues. I actually had my foglight ballast sitting on my tire and I backed the truck up with it still there and backed over the ballast and it still works like normal. Now I just gotta see how long this kit will last. Very pleased! Great job DDM Tuning!

I've used DDMs kits in about seven of my rides. Won't use anything else. Every once in a while ill have ballast crap out and their return service kinda sucks but its worth it because of how they look.

What do you mean by series? Brand?

Get 35 way HIDs. They last longer than 55 watt. Plus the amp draw is about 12 amps and once they warm up it drops to around 9-10 amps. I'd hate to see what 55w draws.

If you get HIDs for your projectors, make sure they are 35w. 55w will melt the inside of the projector. And also make sure they are single beam because I think most projector brands will not allow having HID for both beams

I just installed some DDM's last night myself. I was conservative and went with the 35-watt 4500k model. After aiming the lights properly I drove for about 30-minutes on a mix of interstate and small country roads. (Didn't get flashed any, so thats a good sign). So far I am very pleased with them. The color temp is excellent, very white and a drastic improvement over stock. I am glad I didn't move to 6000k or higher. I was looking for an improvement in lighting, not looks (however, they look good too). I am very pleased so far. Hopefully they will last a few years.

I didn't know they had 4500k. When I ordered mine they had 5000 or 6000k. I got the 5000k and love it.
