Am I the only running Mobile 1, 0 -20 weight? I started using a zero weight oil in my Honda motorcycle and noticed it cranked over much easier on those cold San Diego mornings Lol. Also noticed the transmission shifted noticeably smoother as well. Figured if zero weight helped the cycle, it couldnt hurt the truck.

Amsoil has flooded the net with all kinds info to make people believe just that. In reality there is nothing special about their oil verses the others except the TBN which is what makes for long change intervals. As I've said before I don't believe anything an oil company claims nor any test they pay to have done. For real information on any fluids for your car look here and only here

what blown is saying is 100% correct. amsoil is just as good as anything else... not better or worse... i would 100% say its paying for a name... what also comes into play is what your trying to achieve with your motor... for the daily driver spending more $ for a name is a choice some decide to make but isn't necessary. i personally use amsoil because of the quality but also because of the dealer price i get

I'm running Rotella 5W-40 and a Motorcraft filter until I can get the phasers and timing set done. Then probably going to switch to NAPA 5W-20 full synthetic.
