Default Just Changed the Plugs...How Do The Old Ones Look?

I just changed the plugs last night on my 06 F150 5.4. Removal went great, not a single one broke and they all came out great, no penetrating oil needed!! I did them right after I got home from work. I think the engine being hot helped a ton!!

Anyway, I wanted to post some pictures of my old plugs to see if any of you gurus out there had anything to say about them. I turned the plugs 180 degrees on the second set of pictures to show the other side.

Those plugs aren't very old. That's why they came out so easy

^^^Correct! The porcelain is still nice and white as opposed to these plugs:

Also, take note of the grounding strap and electrode and how much porcelain is showing on the plugs you took out. You had the updated plugs in there already. Take a look at the difference in these below and how much less porcelain you see and how much shorter the grounding strap is:

All in all, you should still be happy knowing you are good for another 50k-75k on plugs!

It wouldnt be how old, it would be how many miles. My guess is under 20K on them.

I'm with summers. Those are pretty low mile. The electrodes are still in great shape. Haven't fired a ton.

You're da bomb for not breaking any. I broke 5 of my 8. And yes, those are not the originals is my guess as well.

Nice job though.
