Default Just bought a procomp 6" lift have questions?

Ok guys finally after so long I have bought a 6" procomp lift for my 2wd 08 f150 !!!

The only thing that it didn't come with are the back shocks. I was going to order the exact ones off of procomp website there like ez3000 series - ez9000 there only about $50 a piece and I was wondering if I should and could buy better shocks ? I'd rather spend the 200 or something to have the better ride.

I know the lift new dosnt come with front shocks but would it be good /better to get some ? Idk how that works.

Anyways I was going to put a 2.5 level on top of that lift and was going to put a 5" block in the back to make it level. I have seen one guy do it and it made his truck perfectly level.

What would be a good quote from a shop to do all this ?

Sorry for all the questions just wanting a good ride and you guys know what your talking about when It comes to this so thanks in advance !!!

And yea it's a 2wd proud of it

Can I fit a 6" shock in the front ? Cus it's not the coilover version. You get the big spacers that go on top of the shocks so would it fit?

You just ditch the spacer and run the 6" bilsteins and a leveling kit if you want. You wouldn't be able to stack a leveling kit on top of the 6" spacer that comes with the lift kit.

I have an 08 2wd and would love to do this setup on my truck. You should be proud of it. Its your truck do what you want. That's how I look at things. Also I would love to know how much all of this cost you when its all said and done.

Man I've been looking at lift for months and honestly don't want to spend 2k for a good lift so I've been looking and looking and found this one on Craig's list used for $600 and drove down today to pick it up. I have to buy shocks and then pay for install. And a 2.5 level and 5" rear block. I know it can be done because I have seen a guy specifically run it with the same lift and truck .

I'm so excited, I'm 18 so I can't afford tons now. I have my own job and make my own money. I love my truck yea it's 2wd I love it and its my baby. Thanks man I hope u can find one ill keep you informed on price

Im sorry to say that a typical install price is gunna run you more than what you paid for the lift...nice find on the lift though. Usually a shop will charge 800-1000 to install the lift. You can find a mechanic that does this on the side for probably half the price i mentioned. Depends on your location. Good luck man!

Did you put a level on top of yours. I'm wanting to put a 2.5level on top of the 6" spacer then add a 2.5 block in back
