iwe help
ok so awhile back I installed dual batteries and I unhooked the vacuum box from the system and drove the truck for about 1 mile came right home an put it back on. soon after the actuators started making a terrible grinding noise like the where half engaged and the gears where grinding. since then I have replace the seloniod and both actuators and it still grinds and certain speeds it is getting very annoying is there some thing I'm missing here or am I doomed?
ok how do you check if a check valve is working and can i just buy a whole new vacuum line system for the iwe cause this is really getting old 300 bucks and my time is gone and its still not fixed wtf ford nice going I think I'm just gonna sell the truck and lose the headache
You can go to harbor freight and get a vacuum pump for about 25 bucks put vacuum to it and it should hold if not replace it .Or go to napa buy both check valves for about 14 bucks for both. The dealer would not sell me just the valve you got to buy it with all the vacuum lines. My bet at this point is the check valve.( do both valves trust me)
not yet I'm in hawaii and the parts stores here suck they have nothing in stock so I order the complete vacuum system for tasca the other day as soon as it gets here I'll give you guys an update!
