Nope, most people just paint them whatever color they want.

And the signals do blink faster, without the resistor tied in the blink like the bulb is burnt out but the resistor slows it down

I also put in led dome lights, map lights, cargo lights and license plate lights

Not sure what you mean. I color matched mine myself. To do thus though you need to be sure they are for a '12 as they are a 2 piece design.

Could you get pictures? Of ones without the headlights on.
And where did you purchase the led turn signals?
