Default installing a 7 pin universal trailer plug to 4 pin plug on 2005 f-150

I'm installing a 7 pin universal trailer plug to a 4 pin plug but would need the rear lights connector wire color code. I just need to know witch one is the lead power so I can splice on to it. the rest of the wires are connected. thx.

My 06 was pre-wired ( tow package ) but to answer your question, I don't believe there is a hot wire you can tap into back there if you don't have the tow package. The hot wire is feed from Fuse 106 (30 amps) and Relay 05 (Trailer Tow Relay Battery Charge) and is hot only when in the run mode. I hope this helps some.
