So I finally pulled the trigger and got the S&B intake for my 2007 5.4L! Installation was a breeze. Loving it so far, nice and quiet with a clean throaty sound at WOT. I was originally planning to get a gryphon with it but the guys at S&B assured me that their intake will not create a leaner condition, and if I had any problems with it they said they would take care of it (and with S&B's customer service record, I'll trust them for now).
Right now, I'm planning for a muffler upgrade (probably flowmaster 40), then a gryphon to get the most out of the mods and some 33s (haven't decided which ones yet) with XD monsters when my tiny hankook tires go bald.

A programmer (Edge and or other) will give you an unbelievable bump in performance.

I have a 08 5.4 Xlt with a S&B intake,flowmaster exhaust and SCT programmer with a 93 octane custom tune from 5star performance. I've had this set-up for over a year without any problems and I love how well my truck runs and sounds!
