Unloading my trailer at the recycle bin can be a pain.
one company I charged like $10 a piece to load and dispose of
75 in total do the math. just for their trash

I cut one end with tin snips and covered the sharp edges with foam tape nad secured the tape with a wire tie no exposed sharp edges.
I also tied up the wires that the brkt had supported
I wiggled the other end loose of the spot weld very easy

cb looks good! i just installed mine but didnt think of making a custom bracket for it. where i put it i cant see the channels to well. gonna have to find an old computer lol.

Thank you for sharing your install Larryw1. Here is a pic of mine after reading your post.
Eventually I want to switch out my cb for a vhf.
Now I wish I had a better spot for this...
Maybe I can put the siren in the ash tray area and get a single din CD player and put a vhf radio in the other din below the CD player.
Have any you guys taken out your double din radio and put in two single din radios?
