Inquiring about upgrades to my F150

Personally unless you do heavy engine modifications you won't see much of a gain from CAI and exhaust. CAI does nothing, new exhaust a couple HP at most. Programmer will add the most, but running it in performance mode with advanced timing will require you to run premium fuel, which will increase the expense of running your truck. You'll feel the quicker shifts, but I'm not sure how much of an actual difference it makes.
Here's a review from FOURWHEELER on Edge programmer installed on an '05 F150 with 5.4 Triton. They claim a 50 HP improvement.
Whether it's worth on on your particular truck is something only you can decide, but mine just turned 130k miles and no signs of slowing down, so I don't think about whether it will "last" or not. I will probably get something else before it does, and it will probably make a great truck for the next person who owns it. Heck, with care it may even outlast me.

So which would you recommend? I would like to have a good quality tuner, but if I'm paying 300 dollars extra for the same quality tuner I'll go with the edge.
