If Skull doesnt want yours to attempt, I will gladly try. I have dremels, and router bits. I'm thinking a 1/8" router for the letters, maybe the dremel for the dash. Make a template out of sheet metal as a guide maybe. Then recess out part of the back of the emblem for the led to be housed inside of it, so to speak, that way you can still flush mount the emblem back in place, and just run the power/ground through the hole in the fender already.

 

I think that I am going to try this on my truck as well. Will see what I can come up with and post some pics if it all works out.
