That is the Veilside prototype body kit for the US Mazda 6 on the car.I have the Fluidampr prototype on the car

My car is also on Fluidampr's homepage

http://www.fluidampr.com/

It is the one advertised in the center of the homepage flashing after you get past the Mustang.

I am testing the Sniper coils on the Mazda application and will be beta testing the Sniper flash tuning system when they get the software ironed out for the CAN bus id Mazda's.

I also prototyped the fan controller for Cordova motorsports for the Mazda 3.0 application.

Im surprised on the comment of veilside. Mostly since they are a Japanese company and they have the Mazda 6 in Japan. Cant remember if its the Alexa or the Atenza though.

I used to send a buttload of parts from Japan to the US for Mazda, Toyota and Nissan all my biggest customers, long time ago though.

They have a US office now in California, they also produce a few kits for US cars other than the 6.The JDM version of the 6 is the Atenza. The main difference is the Atenza kits are lip spoilers and the 6 has full replacement bumpers because they have different front and rear bumpers/covers because of US crash specs.

I was just on a trip deep into the middle of nowhere in Ontario Canada when a coil started acting up on me (3rd time). I was hoping to make it back to St. Paul, but boom...blew a plug right out of the head. Timing was bad as I was 'in the bush'...75 miles from any town...no cell phone reception anywhere in this area and nightfall approaching.

What kills me is that when I go into the Ford dealer (especially in winter) it seems like they have trucks lined up for this repair. Are the ignition coils built to deteriorate over time or what? When I talk to non-Ford owners they don't seem to know what the heck I am talking about because they have never had a 'coil' go bad. What is the deal? Other than the 'coils' it has been a great truck. Does Ford have a unique set up when it comes to 'coils'???

Sounds more like the typical spark plug comming loose to me, rather than the coil going bad never heard of a plug blowing out from a bad coil most coils seem to just fade power wise or stop working all together. My truck had a clatter noise so I caught it before it blew out it was just a little louder than the regular 5.4 lifter noise, just replaced the plugs and they all tightened up nicely
