I used to send a buttload of parts from Japan to the US for Mazda, Toyota and Nissan all my biggest customers, long time ago though. |

Im surprised on the comment of veilside. Mostly since they are a Japanese company and they have the Mazda 6 in Japan. Cant remember if its the Alexa or the Atenza though.

I was hoping to make it back to St. Paul, but boom...blew a plug right out of the head. Timing was bad as I was 'in the bush'...75 miles from any town...no cell phone reception anywhere in this area and nightfall approaching.
What kills me is that when I go into the Ford dealer (especially in winter) it seems like they have trucks lined up for this repair. Are the ignition coils built to deteriorate over time or what? When I talk to non-Ford owners they don't seem to know what the heck I am talking about because they have never had a 'coil' go bad. What is the deal? Other than the 'coils' it has been a great truck. Does Ford have a unique set up when it comes to 'coils'??? |
