Default I want better parking light/turn signal and marker lights

I don't know if it's just different picture quality but some pictures of the parking light and marker lights look like a better deeper and brighter amber light. Any suggestions on getting something better than the stock bulb? Not to much into the switchbacks but I would go with LEDs if its easy enough to do without causing a turn signal issues. There's a picture from a member (jreimnitz150) and his looks awesome. What do I need to do?? Thanks guys

LED's...for your turn's just make sure you buy the required flasher relay...and you will have no problems.

Flasher relay? Easy to instal? I'm sure I could find it on the forum somewhere but could you give me a quick idea on how I do that. Thanks

Search for my thread "Flasher Upgrade" which basically shows how to replace your factory flasher located in the driver-side footwell with a TMI EP27 unit. That will solve all the hyper-flash issues you will get with LEDs. Also, keep in mind that it also depends on the type of LEDs you run. I run Cree 50W LEDs on the rears and I no longer need my upgraded flasher as it has a built-in CAN-Bus and runs at a higher wattage than most LEDs. Anything under 50W for 3156/3157 bulbs will generally require a flasher upgrade. Either that or you can run resistors, which is kind of hack to me.

This is what bulbs I'm running at the moment:
Low Beam Headlights - PIAA Extreme White Plus 100W H1
High Beam Headlights - Stock
Front Foglights - Cree 50W 9145
Front Turn Signals - GE Nighthawk 3157A
Rear Brake Lights - Cree 50W LED
High Mount Brake Light - Cree 7.5W LED
Reverse Light - Cree 50W LED

Thank you for all the info. I searcher the flasher and found 1 for $20. In the description tho it said could cause the cruise control to not work. Have you had this issue?

Would this one work since it says built in load resistors? I don't know what the CAN really is but seems like what I'm looking for

I have those LEDs and am putting them in tomorrow. I tried installing them a while ago and they hyper flashed. I bought resistors and was about to splice when I read this about the flasher. I went to Auto Zone today and got a EP27 for 16.10. I located where the flasher was located and will do this tomorrow. BTW, CAN bus has to do with the connection. My 2008 uses CAN Bus connections. The red circle is your Can Bus connection.

Oh alright. Thanks. Cool, let me know how it works out and if that causes any issue with the cruise control. I would definitely like to do it. Btw, just added some led bed lights. Came out pretty nice. I'll post it up tomorrow

I've never used cruise control on my truck before. My method of cruise control involves my right foot.

Those would work but I don't think those would be as bright a factory halogens. I've seen those before. I would highly recommend finding something that puts out at least 400lm. My old 7.5W Cree LEDs were brighter than factory, those 5050SMD LEDs are good for interior lights but for exterior lights I don't think they would be bright enough.
