I appeciate the responses I got on my first post and thought I would update everyone on what I've found out to date. It's as I suspected. Number 8 cylinder fuel injector failed in the open position and hydro locked the cyclinder which damaged the engine. The white smoke was all the unburned fuel.The local Ford dealer is pulling the engine to see how much damage there is. The service manager is trying to get Ford to pay for everything since there is a recall on the injectors and have since redisigned
them. Thanks again everyone.
