Default I changed rear diff clutch packs, now axel won't rotate; any clue why?

Good afternoon and thanks in advance.

2004 F-150, 4.6L, 4x4.

So i changed the rear diff clutch packs today...

I opened up rear end, removed the whole unit, pulled S-Spring, spider gears, changed clutch packs. Put everything else back where it was before. Slid the unit back in, axles, c-clips, all that.

Now axle will not rotate without a lot of effort, i mean alot. Is this normal? I don't feel like it is. What did I do wrong?

Negative... would that really stop it from turning? I lubed them up before installing them though.

Update...

Just finished the job. I just tore everything back down and put it back together, and everything was fine. It should have taken me about 2 hrs without mistakes. Not sure what I did wrong the first time. Anyways, I'll put a full write up on here later. It was super easy. Anybody with some basic tools and mech skills definitely could save money by doing this one yourself. I forgot how nice it was to have a rear end that doesn't chatter.

Nothing. I pulled pretty much the whole diff out except for the pinion gear. Pushed the gears in on a workbench by hand, walked the spider gears in by hand, then mashed the spring back in. I wrote a post with step by step what I did. Check it out. It was really easy. To try and do it with out taking the carrier out is crazy.
