My 06 5.4 blew up melted the number 5 piston. Anyone have any ideas why.

A lean injector or an intake leak or maybe it's a common thing. Like I said a real answer

And we knew this how? No one called you an idiot. I've seen folks that thought a tank of gas and windshield washer fluid was all the maintenance a vehicle needs and were dumbfounded when their motor craps out. **** poor maintenance cold be a cause of failure. Does that mean we believe you don't take care of your ride? Well since 99% of the folks on this site probably don't know you personally most of us don't know if you do or not.
