Well my battery is almost brand new only a few months old I do believe I have lights because when I locked it the horn blew and tails flashed. I had no one to jump start me and I drove straight into the drive way no room to get a car beside me to jump it.

I just replaced mine today that I bought a few months ago, bad cell and wouldn't hold a charge. It happens. I tried charging mine and it would only take a partial charge.

As you desribe it only 1 answer battery power is not getting to the truck. Its either.. a bad conection or a blown cell conecter in the battery its self. as ageneral rule a discharged or or bad battery will still have enough power to light a dome lite or click a relay unless it has an internal brocken conecter or you have aloose or coroded cable[ check bothe ends of both cables]

Ok well I'll check all of that later on tonight once I'm done work and I'll report back with my findings.

FYI, it's a good idea to include information like this in your first post when asking a teck question.

Best guess is a bad connection at the battery.

Well I just didnt think my battery would cause that much power loss, I've had my battery completely crap out and never did anything like this I always had gauges and trouble lights would come on but none of that this time.

If someone did not clean/tighten your terminals when they replaced your battery it could show this exact problem. Everything looks normal until you go to hit the starter and everything dies. That's a classic symptom of a bad battery connection.

Edit: A little more info here: A marginal electrical connection could carry enough current (Amps) to run your radio, power windows, etc. In short, your vehicle will act 100% normal. When you try to start the truck the Amp load can spike to several hundred Amps and overwhelm the weak connection. This will put your truck in the dark (like you indicated). A dead cell in the battery will usually not look like this, power windows would be slow, lights would be dim, ect. That is because you have a voltage drop in this case (your 12V battery would be a 10V battery). Your symptoms point to a bad connection.

Default battery

Did you check the ground strap to the starter, or the relay, if you don't know what to do, buy a " chiltons' and learn!

Well I changed my own battery but I did have work done on it where they did disconnect the battery and I never checked it after they did it so it's a very good possibility. I'll start with the battery then fuses the only thing I saw work on the truck was horn and tails when I locked it with the remote. I'll check the battery first then fuses.
