Default How are your Ebay Purchased headlights or Grille?

Hey fellas. I'm looking to "Murder-Out" my 2004 Lariat's frontend w/ Black headlights along with a "Horizontal" black grille. I'm not a fan of the honeycomb grille that is OEM. Ideally I'd like to get a Saleen grille, but those things are hard to find along with the expense so unfortunately ebay it is. I'm hoping for opinions on sellers along with quality of either item you may have purchased or both. I'm hoping to avoid hazing of the headlights and fading from the grille. Please respond with links or seller information. I found http://www.ebay.com/itm/371256534198?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&fromMakeTrack=true, but like they say if it's to good to be true.... it probably is. I'm not sure if anyone from this forum bought from this seller, but this gives you an idea of what i'm looking for. Thanks

I used these for my retrofit and the build quality was twice as good as a previous ebay pair I bought. They were very "solid" feeling compared to another set (ipexmotoring I think).

^^^What techrep said. Buy a tube of black RTV and seal the lens to housing. Let it dry 12 hours and do a second bead. They will never leak after that.

I also use a little dielectric grease on the bulb O rings.. this helps to keep the moisture out too.

So just to confirm with the responses on here. It doesn't matter on whatever ebay set you get always add RTV to ebay headlights...am I right? I've never added RTV, but heard of it. Should I bake them then add RTV? I'm not sure of the exact details.

member/06hdf150:I love the tinted lens headlights, but not the chrome inside. I love the dark housing look but not the clear lens. If only they added tinted lenses w/ black housings. It would be perfect.

Does anyone know what grille this is?

That's the stock FX2 grille I believe, I put the same one on my truck. Sorry for the poor quality cellphone pic.
