sounds like a stupid question, but is a 2.5" leveling spacer actually 2.5"??

If not, exactly how thick is it? I'm going to make a pair at work, and I'm having no luck getting the dimensions anywhere online, so I'll just take my strut in with me and turn down some aluminum to a fittable size, but how tall should it be???

good job reading. and no a 2.5" leveling kit is not 2.5" tall. IIRC it is 1.625" tall. it changes your suspension geometry to gain the lift.

no it isn't 2.5" it is less and because of the angle of the strut it yields 2.5"

A 2.5 inch leveling "spacer" is 1.75 in .When mine was delivered i like to have shet never thought that would make the front 2.5 inches but it did.

The actual spacer was 3" tall? That would net you like a 4.5"+ lift
