Any advise on how to remove the center console seat/holder unit on a 2007 F-150? The two large bolts are obvious, but, there must be a trick to getting to the rear area bolts or latch.

 

Yea you just put your hand under the seat and pull up. It's kinda stiff but it will come up. And the bolts are in there.

That was quite a tug on the front of the seat cushion, but, it came up and revealed all I needed to get at.

 

Yea its a pain the first time but after that it loosens it good. I did a swap in my 07 and put the 09 vented seat in. It's got more storage and the extra cup holders. Welcome that's what the sites here for.

I got my 09 one off Craigslist from a guy that swapped for a center console it was only 50$ only bad part was the mounting was different on the 09 models so I had to fab that. Luckly my dads got a welder!! That's the best mod I've done, I have a total of 8 cup holders in my reg cab! Lol and storage under the seat
